A native of Detroit, MI, currently residing in Grand Rapids, MI, she is a full time entrepreneur and business coach in her professional life. Care is a wife, dog mom, sister, and friend. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and truly enjoys serving her community.

In 2021 after losing her mother unexpectedly, grief took on an entirely new form for her. Care's grief journey is unique much like everyone else's where as she chooses to be open, honest, and reflective in ways that helps her process.
